What’s next

It was good to meet so many of you at the Borders Art fair, and to see some of the pieces go off to a new home.

I have just delivered new work to a number of galleries:

Some of my larger pieces will be shown in the “Space to grow” exhibition by members of the Scottish Potters Association –

Later this summer I will exhibit at Potfest in Scotland (June 8th -10th), and Potfest in the Pens (August 3rd – 5th):

Borders Art Fair

My next show will be the Borders Art Fair in Kelso, on 16-18 March. The fair covers a variety of arts and has free entry.

Get in touch with me if you would like an invite for the private view on Thursday evening – there will be drinks and music!

Christmas fair

Did you miss us at the Perthshire Open Studios? Do you regret not buying something at the time? Are you looking for some original handmade Christmas decorations and gifts?
Come and see us in the Barn at Mains of Rattray for our Christmas Fair, where the same 8 artists will be showing their work.

The show will be on Saturday 4th November (10.30 am – 4.30pm) and Sunday 5th November (10.30 am – 4pm).

Come along and meet the artists, and browse a wide selection of unique hand made goodies. There will be ceramics (both functional and sculptural), hand made soaps, quiltmaking, paintings, stained glass and porcelain and silver jewellery. In addition to our usual range of work, there will also be Christmas ornaments and decorations. It’s a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping, whilst enjoying a mug of mulled wine or mulled apple juice and some scrummy cake.

Directions: From Blairgowrie, take the A926 towards Alyth. Approx 1 mile after Rattray, turning will be signed on the right. From Alyth, take the A926 towards Blairgowrie, turning will be signed on left approx 3 miles after New Alyth. Follow signs to venue. (A postcode is useless, as you will be taken on a magical mystery tour of the nearby fields!).

I hope to see you there, and please feel free to invite friends or family!

Potfest 2017

Thank you to everybody who braved the torrential rain and came to my stand at Potfest. I enjoyed seeing people see my work for the first time, and learned so much about how to present it. I had a lot of amazing comments, and some of my work has found new homes.

Next up: Perthshire Open Studios in September. More details will follow.

How web design has changed… download a CMS, a themorbs2e and some plugins and there it is, rather than the hours of tweaking code I was used to. This means I could focus on what this is about: presenting some of my ceramics. Hope you enjoy it!
